Jess Healey, a former PWHL Boston defenseman, will be running the 129th Boston Marathon while fundraising for the Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A)! The B.A.A. strives to promote health and wellness through sports, especially running. The B.A.A is committed to a world where all people can access and benefit from running and an active lifestyle. Throughout the year they will introduce and encourage the sport of running to all people through their own programs and events and through grants and partnerships committed to building a diverse Boston running community. "Boston Strong" is a phrase that represents the unity, resilience, and patriotism of the Boston Community. It is a symbol of strength & inspiration for Boston.
